Taiwan Golf Course, the first golf course in Taiwan, has a history of over a century since its establishment in 1919. Not only is the course picturesque, but it also boasts excellent facilities, making it one of the few golf courses in Taiwan that meets world-class standards.
Located in Tamsui, a hub of culture and history, this golf course blends with historical sites such as Fort San Domingo, Oxford College, and Aletheia University, creating a unique cultural landscape with significant historical value.
Through arduous efforts and step-by-step progress, we honor the challenging establishment by our predecessors. Enduring the Japanese colonial era, the ravages of war, Taiwan's retrocession, and current operational difficulties, the course has thrived thanks to the dedication of past presidents, the board of directors, and the support and hard work of its members. This has nurtured many world-renowned players and once earned the reputation of being among the world's top fifty golf courses, establishing its leading position.
It is truly remarkable for a golf course to span two centuries. We hope this course can embody the "Tamsui humanistic spirit," cultivating more outstanding players to bring honor to the nation and achieve global recognition. May this course forever remain a part of Taiwan's historical heritage—this is our shared vision.
