Located in the hilly area of Dacun Township, Changhua County, Taihe Golf Club was initiated by Mr. Lin Yu-chia, founder of the Taiwan Glass Group, in 1977 and officially opened in 1981. The course covers approximately 70 hectares and sits at an altitude of about 150 meters. The local climate is warm with little rain, like spring all year round. Not only is it free from the interference of strong northeast monsoons, but it is also surrounded by towering trees and beautiful scenery, making it a rare high-standard sports and leisure venue hidden in the mountains of central Taiwan.
The 18-hole fairways are built to follow the undulating terrain of the local hills, with a smooth and distinct layout. The wide fairways are shaded by green trees on both sides, but challenging bunkers and terrain obstacles are cleverly placed around the greens. It is particularly noteworthy that the club spares no effort in maintaining the course. All greens use high-quality TifEagle grass, which provides a smooth and extremely fast roll, posing a strict challenge to golfers' putting finesse and green reading ability.
In recent years, under the leadership of the current chairman, Mr. Lin Bor-shih, Taihe Golf Club has actively engaged with international competitions, hosting the "Taihe ADT Open" and various men's and women's professional golf tournaments for many years. This has not only significantly enhanced the club's international reputation but also established its status as a championship-level competition venue. Taihe Golf Course is not only an arena for honing golfing skills but also an international-class leisure club that perfectly combines golf, natural mountains, and contemporary top architectural art.
